| The Auxiliary Operator will work under the the direction of the Control Room Operator. He will be responsible for the operation and inspection of various systems and equipment as assigned. Normally, the assigned areas will include boilers and associated systems such as fans, grates, ash systems, the reverse osmosis, and testing of feedwater quality.
The duties of the Auxiliary Operator include the safe and efficient operation of the individual’s assigned equipment in accordance with the established plant operating procedures. Employee is responsible for recording data, reporting equipment malfunctions and or trends, which indicate possible trouble followed by performing actions as directed to correct identified problems.
Position Requirements
The position of Auxiliary Operator requires four or more years previous experience with high pressure boilers and electric generating equipment, and formal technical training.

Qualifications:
Must have basic computer skills
Must have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and control systems
Six or more years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred
Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to interpret and apply instructions, specifications, blueprints, and procedures
Possess a valid driver's license
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines

Job Functions
1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance required on company product lines. This includes: disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, adjusting/calibrating, and certifying equipment ready for use by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment (i.e., schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, etc.).
2. Troubleshoot, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components.
3. Service customers by providing PMA performance, service calls, warranty calls, field upgrade programs, etc.
4. Perform administrative duties as assigned to ensure effective planning, utilization, and required paperwork completion.
5. Maintain a working relationship with the Service Manager to advise of activity/changes related to sales opportunities in assigned territory.
6. Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales organization. Communicate activities to customers related to scheduling Preventative Maintenance and estimated time of arrival for unscheduled work. Utilize provided product and industry knowledge to assure customer’s expectations of service are exceeded. Actively seek continuing education opportunities.

The Field Service Technician has the ability to utilize his/her mechanical aptitude to provide excellent service to our customers. We provide a thorough training program to our Field Service Technicians which will provide the tools necessary for an independent, motivated and mechanical inclined person to succeed within our organization.
Primary responsibilities of a Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and removal of bulk cryogenic and non-cryogenic systems to include Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, CO2, Hydrogen, and Helium systems in the assigned coverage area.

• Provides project management and coordination for customers as needed.
• Follows safety policies, procedures, and goals.
Position Requirements:
• A minimum of a high school diploma
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Self motivated and successful working independently in a non-structured work environment
• Basic computer literacy in order to input data into computerized systems
